Abstract
The understanding of new types of collective formations is of great importance for leaders in charities, government and politics. Crowds, movements, communities and other forms of networks affect communication and collaborative behaviour, producing new social manners and forms of language while also increasing the need to react, to name but a few of the consequences. This transcript of the conference ‘Social Talk 2016’ sheds light on the creative tasks required for the management of social and health organisations from the perspectives of both theory and practice. It focuses on the characteristics and potential of new network formations, strategy and leadership in digital networks, networks and innovation as well as moving people in Networks.
