At the apex of the relationship between compliance and criminal law, this work aims to bring the honeymoon phase to an end. The attainment of this goal cannot be had without a general theory of compliance, whereby this research is followed by a social and legal philosophical classification of compliance, which in turn leads to the search for a meta-theory of the criminal law doctrine in Germany, inserting again all areas into a historical consideration.
